With a staggering 65,000 pets euthanized annually in Texas shelters, the situation is dire, and Houston's dogs and cats are in desperate need of our help.

We deliver adopted dogs and cats throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast including drop locations in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Virginia, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and DC Metro Area! Plus, for our British Columbia pals, we're just a hop over the border.
Adoption fees help contribute towards all that comes with your newly adopted family member.
Get Ready for an Adventure!
Now, let's talk about what's included in your adoption fee. We're not just any rescue – we're top-notch when it comes to medical care for our furry friends.
Your adoption fee covers a full suite of services, from immunizations to spaying/neutering, microchipping, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and even a health certificate. Within 30 days of arrival, we make sure your pet gets a thorough heartworm test. And that's not all – adult dogs get a whole six months of heartworm prevention, while puppies get two months, all included in your adoption package.
We go the extra mile with transportation. Your pet rides in style on a temperature-controlled bus or van, complete with trained staff to ensure a safe and comfy journey right to your doorstep!
And let's not forget about training! Most of our adult dogs have already been through basic training and enjoy playgroups while they wait for their forever homes. We're all about preparing them to be the perfect new addition to your family.

Erin’s Adoption Story
Bruce Wayne came into our lives right before we would need him most. We thought we were rescuing him, but really he was rescuing us. We adopted him just two weeks before the pandemic hit, and 6 months before our family would suffer a huge loss. For a long-time taking care of BW was the only reason I got out of bed or forced myself outside. He provided laughs, cuddles, and licked away the tears.
When we first brought him home in February 2020, he lacked confidence and shied away from new people. Since then, he trots around with his giant head and chest held high and shows off his favorite toys to anyone that walks in our door. He plays so gentle with our young family members and keeps an eye on them as they play in the yard. When dad is away on night shift, he sticks close to mom and stays on guard for any weird noises outside the house. My anxiety used to keep me awake on nights alone and now I feel so safe with him curled up next to me.
We could not be any more grateful for the time, energy, and funds Three Little Pitties put into rescuing and saving our furry son. They made our family complete, and no one else could have brought us our Bruce Wayne.
