Since2018
Our reach
Houston rescue. Nationwide opportunity.
Thousands of animals are rescued from Houston-area streets and overcrowded shelters every year. Medical, behavior, foster, adoption, community, and transport teams work as one system so each pet can safely reach a foster or forever home.
Through education and active community engagement, the rescue empowers people to treat animals with kindness, take responsibility, and become lifelong animal-welfare advocates.

Meet the rescue team
Leadership built from hands-on rescue.
Every department is led by people who entered rescue to solve a real problem and stayed to build something bigger.

Alayna
Executive Director
A founder and the heart of the organization since 2018. What began with a few urgent rescues grew to more than 1,000 lives saved in the first year. Her leadership expands adoption opportunities for animals of every breed and size across the country.

Jenelle
Director of Operations & Finance
Jenelle began by fostering with her daughter in 2018, later became an adoption coordinator, expanded the Pacific Northwest foster program, and now keeps the organization’s programs and finances moving efficiently.

Cynthia
Director of Adoptions
After seeing the scale of Houston’s stray crisis, Cynthia became a champion for overlooked strong breeds and medical cases. Since joining in 2018, she has helped thousands of animals reach loving homes.

Lainey
Clinic Director
With more than 16 years in animal welfare and veterinary medicine, Lainey has led the medical team since 2021 and advocates especially for complex medical cases.
