Others come to us in conditions that no animal should ever have to endure—injured, sick, scared, and completely out of options.

Because when they come through the doors of Three Little Pitties Rescue, their story doesn’t end there—it begins again.
Who We Are
Three Little Pitties Rescue was built on one simple belief:
Every animal deserves a chance.
Not just the easy ones—the ones who need extra care, time, and belief.
Because of that mission, and this incredible community, we now save over 3,600 animals each year while caring for nearly 900 at any given time.
Behind that impact is a network of fosters, volunteers, and supporters who show up every single day to make it possible.
Where We Are Now
In just eight years, we’ve grown from rescuing animals out of the back of cars to operating a full-scale, multi-state rescue.
Today, we are:
- A team of 55 staff members
- Supported by over 1,000 volunteers
- Operating across three properties
- Running an in-house medical clinic
- Providing behavior support and training
- Transporting animals across the U.S.
We’ve built a system where nearly everything happens in-house—from rescue to placement—allowing us to respond quickly and care for animals every step of the way.
We also provide free community services like spay/neuter, vaccines, and supplies—because supporting people is part of saving animals.
And with a return rate under 4%, we’ve become known for making the right matches that last.

Right now, our ability to save lives isn’t limited by passion or experience—it’s limited by capacity.

A Turning Point
Recently, we were given 1.7 acres of land next to our current property in Friendswood—an incredible gift from Michael McCarthy.
But now, we have a vision to build something we’ve never had before: A facility designed specifically for rescue. The vision is clear. Now we need the community’s help to make it a reality.
