Building the Future of Rescue in Houston
Three Little Pitties Rescue is launching a $4.5 million capital campaign to build our first custom-built rescue facility to meet the needs of the rescue on newly donated land — allowing us to expand to save more animals each year.
3,200+ animals saved annually
900 animals in our program at any given time
A life-saving community powered by fosters, volunteers, and donors
A Gift Made This Possible
Three Little Pitties Rescue has been blessed with an extraordinary opportunity: 1.7 acres of land donated next door to our main property in Friendswood, thanks to our dear friend and fellow animal lover, Michael McCarthy.
For years, our team has made do with what we had — repurposing spaces, adapting buildings, and stretching every dollar to save as many animals as possible.
But now, with this land secured, we have the chance to build something we’ve never had before:
A facility designed specifically for rescue. The property is ready. The vision is clear. Now we need the community’s help to build it.
Phase 1- Lay the Foundation through Preparation, Design & Construction of New Clinic and Multipurpose Space
Phase 2 – Behavior & Training Facilities: create dedicated dog assessment and training areas.
Phase 3 – Outdoor Enrichment Spaces: Create secure play yards and walking trails to enhance our rescued animals’ quality of life.
Bringing Veterinary Care Home to Rustic Lane
Currently, much of our veterinary care happens off-site at a property five minutes away or through outside clinics.
Our new facility will bring everything together on the main rescue property with Surgical suites, Hospitalization wards, Quarantine areas, Recovery space, and Expanded veterinary treatment capacity.
By performing the majority of our medical care in-house, we will:
Save significant operational costs, reduce transport stress on animals, treat animals faster and most importantly, we can help more animals with the same donor dollars.
Connecting Animals With Their People
The building will also include a dedicated adoption visitation area where local adopters can meet animals in a comfortable environment. In addition, the facility will provide something our rescue has never had before: A central hub for volunteers. This space will allow us to host volunteer trainings, foster orientations, community education events, and team meetings. Our volunteers are the backbone of this rescue. This building will finally give them a home base.
